Have you ever lost a balloon? In 2014, special educator Mindy Winebrenner, illustrator Yuki Osada and I teamed up to make our life long dream of becoming authors a reality -we published our first book, The Monkey Balloon. This book was a unique story about Mimi and her adventures in finding her lost balloon. With the help of Yuki Osada, our extraordinary artist/illustrator, our visions became a brilliant reality! Children loved this book so much that we decided to write a sequel. In our second book, A Tale of The Monkey Balloon, Mimi goes on another adventure through magical fairy tales to find her lost balloon. She meets old time favorites such as The Three Pigs, Goldilocks and The Gingerbread man.
