These are my basic chocolate chip cookies that I have been making for years. They come out great each time and even do well as a cookie pie when using a deep dish pizza pan. The recipe is from the Great American Cookie Cookbook (2001). The cookies are sweet, a little crunchy and chewy. They are crunchy coming out of the oven but nice and soft the next day. The cookie pie is excellent too especially for a special occasion. U usually frost the cookie cake
